Proteus is our older standalone ECU (2020) for engines up to 12 cylinders. It runs current rusEFI firmware, but for a new build this is a better fit:

Buy Proteus if you already run one, need a spare, or your harness is built for Proteus or a Proteus adapter board.

On the board

  • 16 low-side outputs (injectors, relays, solenoids)

  • 12 ignition outputs, 5 V logic: smart coils, or external igniters for dumb coils

  • 4 high-side 12 V outputs

  • Dual electronic throttle, stepper idle or electronic wastegate control

  • Knock input

  • Inputs: 2 VR, 6 Hall, 11 analog + 4 temperature

  • Dual CAN bus, SD card logging

  • Ampseal connectors, 93 pins

Options: board only, with connector kit, or with partial crimped pigtail (15 cm wires).
